The Policies

Below you will find our policies for how you may put a reservation on an animal, what that price includes, and all that other information :).

  • Reservations are always available. In order to be placed on our list, you must fill out the Inquiry Questionnaire. Goats will be available for purchase as they are listed on our site or on our Facebook Page. Deposits are due when you state you want the goat. We do not hold goats without deposits.  In the event that a kid you put a deposit on is not born, your deposit may be moved to another kid/future kidding, or may be refunded to you. Deposits are NOT REFUNDED if you do not like the color of the kid that fills your deposit.

  • All goats have a $200 non-refundable deposit per goat, $50 for wethers. This needs to be paid via PayPal or Venmo in order to secure your goats until final payment upon pickup. We do offer custom payment plans if those are more your speed :), but must be paid in full before pickup of the animal.

  • Our doelings start at $600 and increase in accordance with their pedigree. All wethers are $200. Prices are subject to change after kids are born with respect to a kid's specific confirmation and/or their dam's udder quality. Prices on reservations placed and paid before kidding will remain at the agreed-upon price.

  • If requesting a kid to be "horned" or "wethered", FULL PURCHASE PRICE must be paid at the time of deposit.

  • Goats are herd animals. We will not sell a single yearling/adult animal unless you have other yearling/adult goats. New owners purchasing small goats (under 8 months) will need to have other same-sex goats around the same age.

  • A copy of these policies must be signed and returned at the time of deposit. This will be done via Adobe Sign. If you cannot do it via Adobe Sign, you will need to print, sign, and email it back to us.

  • Some of our goats are bottle trained and dam raised (but there are always a couple who don't take to the bottle) until 8 weeks of age and are considered weaned,  but we do encourage bottles after the weaning age if you choose to give it as in our experience, the kids seem more sturdy and grow better. Some of our goats are raised as bottle babies. These babies can be picked up as early as 2 weeks for approved homes. If you are purchasing a bottle baby, the owner is responsible for giving them their 1st and 2nd CD&T shots.

  • Wethers are always sold as pairs unless you are pairing a wether with a doeling.

  • All of our goats are vaccinated with yearly boosters of CD&T, monthly vitamin B supplement, vitamin A & D for the bucks, bi-yearly copper boluses, are wormed as needed, and tested yearly and negative for CAE, CL, and Johnes. All bucklings that leave the farm are DNA'd. Test results can be provided on request.

  • All chickens have a $20 non-refundable deposit per chicken. This needs to be paid via PayPal or Venmo in order to secure your chickens until final payment upon pickup.

  • All goat animal prices include the animal, a bill of sale, a small bag of our food to make the transition easier, DNA paperwork (bucklings included - doelings is an additional cost), and ADGA registration certificate. Health Certificates, if needed for transport, are at the buyer's expense and additional to the goat's purchase price. If looking to use transport, see below for the available addresses for pickup. These are the only 2 addresses, other than the farm, that we are willing to meet a transporter at.

  • If any animal is not picked up on the agreed-upon day and you do not make alternate arrangements or contact us with us within 48 hours of that agreed pickup date, the animal will be retained and resold. Purchaser will forfeit monies paid and rights to the animal in question.

  • We take PayPal, Venmo, and Cash for payments.

  • Once animals leave our farm and care, we can no longer guarantee the health and welfare of the purchased animals. We do, however, always try to help our purchasers with any concerns that may arise from travel or introduction into new herds via our own experience in raising Nigerian Dwarf goats and English Orpington chickens.
